What our customers say

We 🧡 our customers! We pride ourselves on providing best-in-class support so you succeed using Summit.

"I tried Summit and it blew me away."

A fantastic piece of software and I keep thinking of different ways to use it for both business and personal situations. You hit it out of the park with this one!
- Gurdeep S.

"Summit moves the needle in more ways than one."

I'm a product, design, and marketing guy, but not an engineer. Before Summit, that meant all my 'engineering as marketing' plans were beholden to engineering priorities. Not anymore. Summit gives me the power to build both internal and external ROI calculators for potential customers.
- Scott H.

"Summit is VERY impressive."

I admit this is an area I'm not strong in and Summit fills that gap. Can't wait to dive into it some more.

"Summit is crazy useful."

I love how visual Summit is and how I can make my simulation more and more nuanced.

"Summit is VERY impressive."

Saved me a few hours of research and spreadsheet voodoo black magic. I admit this is an area I'm not strong in and Summit fills that gap. Can't wait to dive into it some more.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between an editor and a viewer?

Editors can create and modify projects, publish apps, and configure organization settings. Viewers have read-only access to projects and can generate results in simulations and apps.

What's a run?

A run occurs when a simulation is initiated and results are generated. This happens while either editing a project, clicking "Run" in an app, or when requesting results remotely via API connection. While editing a project, runs occur automatically as you make changes on the canvas, but the auto-run setting can be disabled.

Will I be charged if I run a simulation as an editor or viewer?

While on the Free plan, all runs count against the included 250 limit. After upgrading to Pro, however, editors and viewers get unlimited runs while using the editor or private apps. 100 ad-free runs on unlisted, public, or embedded apps, or runs triggered via remote API connections, are included each month and then are billed at a rate of $0.05 per additional run.

Am I required to pay for usage if I upgrade to Pro?

No! After upgrading to Pro, you still have the option to configure your app (embedded or on a Summit-hosted page) as ad-supported or ad-free. Usage is not billed on ad-supported apps. Ad-free apps include 100 free runs per month and then are billed at a rate of $0.05 per additional run.

Note: Runs triggered via remote API connection are always usage-based and billed at the standard rate of $0.05 per run above 100 on a mothly basis.

If I'm on an annual plan, how often am I billed for runs?

Annual plans include a discounted rate for editor and viewer fees and billed on a yearly basis. However, usage-based runs are still tracked and billed monthly at a rate of $0.05 per run, but only after reaching 100 runs in a given month.

What happens after I exceed 250 runs on the Free plan?

After reaching 250 runs, you will be prompted to upgrade to the Pro plan. If you do not upgrade, you won't lose any of your projects or data, but you will be prevented from viewing or editing projects or generating results in apps or via API connection.
