Summit uses a pay-as-you-go pricing model with no minimum purchase required! Credits are the currency you use to execute certain steps (i.e. functions) in live Summit models or when a model is run using visualization tools (e.g. playground mode, hosted pages, embedded apps, et al.). Executing steps while editing models does not consume credits. All costs associated with accessing generative AI tools are included—no additional account signups are required. Credits are tracked on a monthly basis and you are only charged for the credits used during your monthly billing cycle.

The vast majority of steps (i.e. standard functions) in Summit are free, such as mathematics, JSON parsing, and string or text manipulation (using liquid syntax). Premium functions such as requests, proxy requests (using OAuth), in-memory database tables, and calls to GPT cost credits with the average premium function costing approximately 40 credits.

Note: Our platform will display the number of credits a model will consume before you set it live.

As an example, the steps needed to scrape a website and return the content as JSON response will cost 55 credits if you use our request and response steps. However, sending this content to GPT for summarization or analysis costs an additional 75 credits—simply because of the increased bandwidth, server time, and request duration.

Some requests, like ones that use OAuth to connect to your CRM, are a slight premium. Fetching a single page of results out of HubSpot contacts may cost 60 credits, but paging through the response data will increase credits usage.

Note: When you connect to remote services using Summit, unless noted, you will be using your own account credentials to authenticate (stored in an encrypted vault in your Summit account), and all of the costs associated with those remote services will belong to you.

Summit users can get started without a time-limited trial using our pay-as-you-go Maker Plan (see above). No minimum purchase is required. You get near-complete access to Summit platform features so you can take as much time as you need getting familiar with Summit Event Language (SEL), building models, and testing integrations. The Maker Plan also includes access to training materials, tutorials, and model recipes to guide the onboarding process.

Only after you set a model live or you run the model using a visualization tool (e.g. playground mode, hosted page, or embedded app) will your credits be tracked (billed monthly). You will be prompted to upgrade to our Team Plan (starting at$125/month) if you require additional user seats or more than 3 live models. Subscriptions are available as monthly, annual, or multi-year agreements. Custom plans include additional hands-on support from the Summit team for building apps and models, hands-on implementation assistance, and custom API’s for integrating Summit into your stack.

All Summit users can access free training materials, reference guides, tutorials, model recipes, and chat support to guide their onboarding process. ChatGPT+ customers can also chat with GPT’s trained in the Summit model building language (i.e. GPT instructors) to help them learn Summit even faster. Summit GPT's are able to generate entire Summit models (with explanations) using only a simple prompt.

Team and Enterprise Plan customers also receive personalized, 1-1 training sessions with our team. We also allow our enterprise customers to reach us directly via a dedicated chat channel.
